Project Summary: In 2–3 sentences, briefly describe your project, including the project name, purpose, STEM focus, and the students it will serve during one academic year. Use clear language that conveys what the project is and why it matters. Then outline the educational need it addresses, the project’s goals, the key activities students will engage in, and how you plan to measure the project’s impact.
*
**Example: This project empowers 7th and 8th grade middle school students to create interactive digital storybooks using Book Creator, Merge Cube, and introductory coding tools. It focuses on developing students' computational thinking, multimedia design skills, and creative expression while fostering literacy and cultural awareness. Approximately 90-120 students will participate during one academic year. The project addresses the need for engaging technology-rich learning experiences that strengthen digital literacy and problem-solving skills. Through guided lessons, students will design story concepts, build digital assets, and integrate coding elements into their interactive books. Impact will be measured using student work samples, skills-based rubrics, and pre-/post-project reflection surveys.
Connection to STEM: Describe how your project is STEM-based and how it will enhance student learning through STEM principles
*
Student Engagement and Educational Need: Explain how your project directly involves students and fosters hands-on learning experiences, and how the project addresses a compelling and well-defined educational need
